     Active Release Technique (ART)
     Manual Adhesion Release (MAR)

Physical Training

After consulting with you and assessing your fitness objectives, I will develop a personalized training programs comprised of one or more of the following elements: Strength training, conditioning, fat loss, injury prevention, flexibility, mobility, functional training, education, and independent home exercise programs. If you have a medical condition, I will team with your physician to ensure your fitness plan is appropriate and safe.

Exercise Rehabilitation

Exercise rehabilitation is a specialized form of physical training designed to restore an injured person back to pre-injury health. I develop exercise rehabilitation programs for clients ready to transition from physical therapy to exercising independently. I also offer exercise rehabilitation plans for clients suffering from chronic pain due to muscular imbalances and postural issues, and for those with stubborn, long-term injuries.

Athlete Assessment & Development

I use this targeted form of physical training to help clients improve their sport performance. This physically demanding program combines physical training, soft tissue and stretching techniques, body structure analysis and movement assessment. I evaluate a client’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as the specific physical requirements of the preferred activity or sport.  Based on that information, I will help you achieve a higher level of performance and decrease your risk of injury.

Kids, Teens, and Big Kids Too (Adults)

Injury Risk Evaluations

The seed for non-contact injuries and musculoskeletal pain is planted when we are young. For multiple examples please look at the cases studies section. Clients are screened for strength imbalances, joint and flexibility restrictions, anatomical asymmetries and strength deficiencies.

Movement Skill Analysis

A large part of success in sport is being able to move with efficiency and that comes from attaining proper form. Through the use of video analysis, as well as visual and kinesthetic feedback techniques, the client will receive instruction on how to refine and improve their ability to move so as to enhance success in their given sport. Participants will be assessed on all of the fundamental movement patterns.

Postural Assessments

Good posture is fundamental to sound musculoskeletal health. The earlier a person can learn what ideal alignment is the easier is will be to correct their specific issues.

Weight Lifting & Exercise Technique Instruction

I can help you learn safe, proper techniques for weight lifting and body-weight exercises. I particularly recommend this type of training for youth athletes in middle and high school, as it ensures they learn the right form at the outset. I also advise clients about which exercises are best suited for their body type and which exercises to avoid.
